Punta Cana is situated at the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic. It’s a region known for its 32km stretch of beaches and clear waters. The Bávaro area and Punta Cana combine to form what’s known as La Costa del Coco, or the Coconut Coast. It’s popular for zip-lining, windsurfing and sailing.

The privately owned, 1,500-acre Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park and Reserve comprises tropical habitats hosting hundreds of native species like the endangered Ridgway’s hawk. Also on site are 12 freshwater lagoons, called “eyes”. Nearby golf courses have panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea with horse stables offering guided tours through coconut groves.
